Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Training
Looking for group or individual training on 2D and 3D CAD modeling? We are here to help you and/or your team learn the necessary skills to bring your products to market.
Here is a list of the topics we can provide training on:
-
Advanced training and skills with parametric modeling
-
3D solid and surface modeling
-
Conversion of sketches and prints into CAD files
-
Manufacturing schematics and print detailing
-
Tolerance analysis and GD&T application
-
Legacy mylar physical print conversion to 3D MBD or 2D CAD
-
Parametric sketch layouts for robust model creation
-
Assembly modeling
-
Edit existing CAD files
Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Training
We understand the importance of having parts made the way you want them to function and not making scrap in the process. One of the best tools for communicating what you want is GD&T. We understand how to use it to explain your design intent and how the part should likely be manufactured, fixtured and gaged. ASME Y14.5-2018 is the current standard but we are familiar with many legacy products that use old standards. We're used to using and interpreting many other standards including, but not limited to:
-
MIL-STD-8A
-
USASI Y14.5-1966
-
ANSI Y14.5-1973
-
ANSI Y14.5M-1982
-
ASME Y14.5M-1994
-
ASME Y14.5-2009
