Engineering and Production Design

The engineering design work that we have done has always taken place in a production environment.  We see the value in being able to take ideas from the R&D phase through to the production phase.  We've seen great ideas that simply can't be enjoyed because they were executed in a way that makes them too difficult to practically manufacture.  We are comfortable with pushing the limits of design and manufacturing but are aware that in many cases the simple answer is the most desirable.  We realize that done is often better than perfect.  We think that Sir Robert Alexander Watson-Watt said it best ”Give them the third best to go on with; the second best comes too late, the best never comes.”  Sir Watson-Watt's radar system, while not perfect, was instrumental in helping the allies win the war.
